Manual for Russian Alarm Clock Elektronika7-21. A) INITIAL SETUP 1. Plug in the cord. Random information will appear. 2. Press the PRG button and, while holding it, press C (reset). The display will reset the hours and minutes to zero. The symbols BC and PRG will appear - the watch is ready for work. B) SETTING THE TIME (AFTER INITIAL SETUP) 1. Press the * (preset) button. The indicator board will change to reduced brightness (setting allowed). 2. Set the day of the week by pressing one of the buttons (from 0 to 6). Symbols from Sun to Sat will appear. 3. Set tens of hours (from 0 to 2) 4. Set the unit value (from 0 to 9) 5. Set tens of minutes (from 0 to 5) 6. Set units of minutes (from 0 to 9) 7. Press arrow (write to memory) 8. At the moment of 00 seconds, press the TV button. This will start the time counting, and the dividing points will start flashing on the display. Note: 1) Setting the values goes from left to rigth side of the display with the brightness intensity changing from low to high. 2) When the last minute is entered the display changes to reduced brightness. 3) The display brightness changes to high after pressing the arrow. C) CORRECTION OF THE PRESENT TIME 1. About one minute before the start of the exact time signal, press C (reset the readings) 2. Then continue as in section B (SETTING THE TIME) D) SETTING THE ALARM CLOCK (the same for each day) 1. Press PRG (display will show random data with PRG highlighted) 2. Press C - zeroing 3. Press * - preset (display brightness will reduce) 4. Press 7 - alarm clock (BUD will be highlighted) 5. Set alarm time value as described in section B from step 3 down (with the caveat that it does not matter when exactly TV is pressed in step 8; pressing TV only finishes the alarm setup) Note: When alarm activates at the specified time then the clock will BEEP for about a minute. Active alarm can be switched off with the SIGNAL button. This will cause the small BELL icon disappear and the ALARM will not be active the next days any more. It will be active the next days if it is not switched of with the SIGNAL button. You can reactive an old alarm (disabled by SIGNAL button) by: 1) Press PRG 2) Press TV E) SETTING THE ALARM CLOCK BY THE DAY OF A WEEK The alarm clock can be set for different times on each day of the week. 1. Press PRG (display will show random data with PRG highlighted) 2. Press C - zeroing 4. Set the day of a week and the alarm time as described in section B with the caveat that it does not matter when exactly TV is pressed in step 8; pressing TV only finishes the alarm setup for the given day. Note: You can set this way a different alarm time for each week-day. F) TIMER MODE (an ALARM after the specified time elapses) Timer can be setup at most to 59 minutes and 59 seconds 1) Press PRG and then TV (the display will lit up the BELL icon) 2) Press C and then * 3) Press 0 4) Set tens and ones of minutes and then tens and ones of seconds of the time to count down from 5) Press TM to start the timer (the clock will BEEP for about a minute when the display counts dow to 00:00) Note: If the TIMER ALARM was not ended by SIGNAL (i.e. the bell icon is lit) then we can setup a timer again by starting from point 2. WARNING: The clock informs about no data in its memory after pressing C or PRG by: - tens of hours are set to 3, ones of hours are unlit - tens of minutes are set to 7, ones of minutes are unlit - BUD and PRG icons are lit up - return by pressing TV
